Welcome to

Edmunds Racing

Stuart Edmunds, winner of the 2021 Jockey Club “McCoy’s Leading Trainer Award (in the category with less than 40 horses)”, is a racehorse trainer based near Milton Keynes. Stuart’s success is built on his 40 years of experience in the equine business. Recognised within the industry, and especially by his peers, as one of the best “horsemen” currently training racehorses. His apprenticeship with Mr. Peter and Mrs. Renee Robeson laid the base for his year-on-year improvement in winners and prize money. Amongst many winners of major races stands the Cheltenham Festival success in 2017 with Domesday Book in the Kim Muir Handicap Chase and an Aintree Festival double in 2021 with Rowland Ward and Hometown Boy.

Arizona Cardinal's win in the 2024 Topham Handicap Chase over the Grand National fences at Aintree was a major success for the team.

Move to the new yard at Croft Farm - 1 August 2023

On the 1st of August 2023 Stuart's operation moved to his new yard, Croft Farm in Stewkley, near Leighton Buzzard.  Croft Farm is a brand-new, purpose-built racehorse training facility for up to 45 horses.  There is an 8-horse walker, 4.5 furlong round all-weather carpet gallop, 2 furlong round deep sand gallop, a warmup/lunging arena and a 1 furlong round all-weather schooling area with two interchangeable fences (hurdles or chase).  The owner's room, office and staff accommodation offer fantastic facilites for staff and visitors.  Stuart and Trish Edmunds will be living onsite.  The site has 3 large fields to offer rest and relaxation for the horses during the season or when they are on holiday.

Swaffham Bulbeck became the first winner sent out from Croft Farm when he won a handicap hurdle at Southwell on the 7th of September 2023, running in the colours of The Stuart Edmunds Racing Club.
